Dog Licenses

State Law requires that all dogs over the age of four months be licensed.

Oakland County Dog Licenses are available for purchase at City Hall. In order to issue a license, the dog owner must present a valid rabies vaccination certificate signed by an accredited veterinarian (mandated by Public Act 339 of 1919).

The fees for licenses are as follows:

Spayed/Neutered	$ 7.50
Senior Citizen Price (65 years or older)	$ 6.75
Male/Female	$15.00
Senior Citizen Price	$13.50
Delinquent (After June 1st)	$30.00

Exceptions:

*New Resident (within 30 days)

*New Dog (within 30 days)

*Dog just turned four months of age (within 30 days of the date the animal turned four months)

Duplicate tags can be issued at no charge if the white copy of the license is presented.
