Mayor Doyle was a member of City Council for five years prior to his appointment as Mayor in December 2002.  In addition to his service as Councilman, Mayor Doyle has served South Lyon as a member of the City’s Planning Commission and as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mayor Doyle is a graduate of Madonna University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and is a lifetime member of Delta Mu Delta.

He is presently employed with a software company in a sales capacity.  He and his wife have been residents of South Lyon for many years and have three children.

In addition to his responsibilities with the City, he also serves as Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 344.
