SURF ZUP is on a mission to bring back the great guitar instrumental hits from the 60's. Our music is referred to as "Surf Music". The formula is simple but powerful. Guitars, drums, catchy beats, great melodies and plenty of reverb results in songs that are familiar to many. The songs played are in their original form. SURF ZUP is purely an instrumental band. JUDY BANKER BAND

Friday, July 8                                                   RAIN OUT

Judy Banker is a new voice on the Michigan songwriting scene. She hit the ground running with her first CD, Without You, an original collection of heartbreakingly honest songs about love and loss that blend folk, jazz, and blues wrapped up in a big country bow.

Come on out and spend a musical evening with Judy, you can bet she’ll have you stomping your feet or crying in your beer, maybe even at the same time.

BILL BYNUM & CO.

Friday, July 15   7:00 pm

With songs both traditional and original, and a sound that's at once as comfortable as old jeans and as fresh as a new blade of grass, Bill Bynum & Co. is a band that's easy to love and hard to quit. The band's core of rhythm guitar, electric lead guitar or banjo, fiddle, bass and harmony vocals can lean into Country, veer toward Bluegrass, or take listeners on a unique journey through Bill's original songs.

CREOLE DU NORD

Friday, July 22   7:00 pm

When you hear Creole Du Nord's music you'll move a little, dance and have fun. It seems that old time music and Louisiana music bring a real element of passion to this band. It's become the mission of band leader Mark Palms to find Cajun and Zydeco tunes, waltzes and old time fiddle tunes that lift the spirit. On fiddles, accordion guitar, bass, banjo uke and percussion, they mix things up and most of it keeps uneasy company with the slicker stuff.

We know that when you see them perform live, you'll enjoy what you hear and will appreciate what they do.
